New CEO Makes Trip Across the Pond

Welcome to Canada!

Tim Arthur, with Canada's National Director, Clarke MacIntosh and Canadian Examiner, Wendy Holt at the Grade 3 Revision Course held at the London School of Dance on June 28.

Tim Arthur, the new Royal Academy of Dance Chief Executive, made his first visit to the RAD Canada office this week, spending three days with staff as well as visiting some local studios. Tim even made an impromptu appearance at the end of the live-streamed Grade 3 Revision Course on Tuesday, where he said a virtual hello to those members attending.

“It’s been absolutely brilliant being able to spend time with staff, and in particular seeing some of the wonderful work that teachers have been doing with their students and the inspiration that they impart clearly shines through,” said Tim. Adding, “I’m excited to have had this opportunity to engage with those who put so much heart and soul into their work , and I look forward to the chance of meeting more members in the near future.”

All Canadian Members will have an opportunity to speak with Tim, when we host our next Table Talk in the coming months.

Until then, a quick reminder for Members who haven’t done so already, we encourage you to complete the Health & Happiness survey. All Members who complete it will have an opportunity to win a free annual membership, in addition to sharing their ideas, venting their concerns, and hopefully sharing some of what the RAD is doing right!
