Balancing Factors that Influence Learning: Internal, External, and Environmental
This interactive webinar aims at understanding the multiple factors that may influence dance students’ learning. Participants will examine the physical, psychological, and social elements that may affect their students’ abilities. In addition, participants will identify factors related to teaching’ strategies and approaches, and to the physical and social environment, and how to balance these factors to maximize learning and performance.
The aims of this webinar are to:
- Learn about dance students’ physical, psychological and social factors that may affect their learning abilities
- Identify factors that influence dance learning related to teachers’ strategies and approaches, and to the physical and social environment.
- Gain knowledge on teaching skills that may facilitate optimal learning conditions in dance.
On completion of the webinar, you will:
- Have a better understanding of the systemic elements that may influence the dance learning context
- Have better knowledge about the multiple internal factors that may influence dance students’ receptiveness to learn.
- Reflect on your own teaching habits that may currently influence your students’ learning process.
- Be able to incorporate teaching and learning skills and strategies, in order to optimize your students’ learning.
- Identify the environmental factors affecting students’ learning and performance.
- Develop skills to balance whenever possible the multiple factors that facilitate or impede dance learning and performance.
