Stress Management & Performance Anxiety - Part II

Based on a reflexive approach, this webinar aims at developing psychosomatic skills that will help dancers to attend to their own physical and mental well-being, and improve their dance training and performance. Participants will learn to identify stress prevention practices, coping strategies, and somatic tools, in order to facilitate students’ wellness and learning abilities.

The learning aims of this webinar are:

  • Identify effective coping strategies that may apply to personal and academic life, and to dance training and performance.
  • Identify prevention tools for effective stress management in dance.
  • Learn to use somatic tools to prevent distress and heighten dance performance.
  • Gain self-awareness of personal values, attitudes and life habits that promote your own global wellness.

The learning outcomes of this webinar are:

  • Have an increased understanding of effective strategies for dancers in dealing with daily stress.
  • Have better knowledge about stress prevention tools that may enhance global wellness and artistic performance.
  • Be able to teach students prevention tools and mental training skills to improve their global wellness, dance training and performance.
  • Be able to incorporate somatic tools in your dance pedagogy, in order to facilitate students’ wellness and learning abilities.
