This September, the RAD’s flagship competition returns to London. Formerly known as the Genée, the renamed Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition is a truly global event, providing candidates with a unique opportunity to train with world-class teachers and choreographers. Over eight days, September 1 -8, London will play host to remarkable performances from some of the finest young dancers in the world today.
The Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition, RAD’s flagship event, aims to promote excellence and global collaboration within the ballet community. It provides young dancers with a unique opportunity to showcase their abilities on an international stage and receive valuable feedback from world-renowned professionals.
The semi-finals will be held in the Aud Jebsen Studio Theatre, at RAD Headquarters on Wednesday 4 September, Thursday 5 September and Friday 6 September starting each day at 10.30am.
The final will be held at His Majesty’s Theatre, Haymarket, on the evening of Sunday 8 September 7.00pm.
