The Fonteyn: Canada's 2023 Semi-Finalists

The Royal Academy of Dance Canada is thrilled to showcase 4 amazing Canadian semi-finalists who will be competing in London, England for The Fonteyn 2023.

The Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition is the Royal Academy of Dance's flagship annual event, attracting the finest young dancers trained in the RAD syllabus, from around the globe. Being one of the most prestigious ballet competitions in the world, The Fonteyn offers aspiring dancers the unique opportunity to work with world-renowned choreographers and professionals, as well as the chance to perform on an international stage.

Over 80 dancers will participate in this year’s week-long competition in London, with the grand finale taking place at His Majesty’s Theatre on October 29.

RAD Canada is excited to congratulate the 4 amazing Canadian dancers who have made it to this year’s semi-finals. The commitment, perseverance, and exquisite artistry of these semi-finalists truly represents what the next generation of Canadian ballet has to offer the world.
