The Royal Academy of Dance announces that its Chief Executive, Tim Arthur, will be stepping down from his role as CEO of the Royal Academy of Dance at the end of the year.

It is a decision that has been incredibly difficult for him to take, as you can all imagine, but is due to a need to prioritise family responsibilities that will be requiring his full attention.

We will be starting the search for Tim’s replacement at the beginning of next month. Tim is committed to ensuring as smooth a transition as is possible so, depending on how the search process evolves, he will be leaving us at around the end of this year.

It goes without saying that we are deeply indebted to Tim for his leadership of the RAD over the last three years.  A huge amount of transformative work has been achieved, not least the development of our new strategy which I know Tim will be deeply disappointed not to be involved in implementing further. Over the course of his tenure Tim has brought on board an exceptional leadership team who I know will carry this vision forward.

The RAD is grateful to you all for your support during this period of transition.
